What is Reiki?

Reiki is a natural healing technique that was discovered in Japan in 1922 by Mikao Usui. The word Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words “rei” and “ki” meaning universal life force energy. During a treatment, Reiki energy is administered by the practitioner placing their hands on the fully clothed body or just above, whichever the patient is more comfortable with. Benefits include energising, relief of pain, accelerated healing, reduction in stress and anxiety, awakening intuition and direction, helping remove historic trauma, and strengthening of self esteem.

About me

Having suffered from chronic headaches and nerve pain for many years, I was so grateful to have been speedily healed by remote energetic healing where traditional medicine had not worked. The effect was so clear and complete that I set my mind upon becoming a Reiki practitioner so I could help others.

I am now an experienced Reiki practitioner and the process has achieved excellent results for many people. I completed a double Reiki Mastery in both Usui and Seichim / Karuna healing and can also work with crystals to enhance the flow and outcome.

I live in Primrose Hill, London, with my wife, three children and a wonderful dog called Cosmo! I take in-person clients in Primrose Hill (NW3) and Fitzrovia (W1), and am available for Distant Reiki healing.

Each individual will experience Reiki differently. Arriving with an open mind and a desire to release and relax will aid healing to take place. During a typical session we will set clear intentions. The process helps restore balance and can open up new unrecognised directions. We look for clarity to allow you open up new paths where you feel blockages. Historic trauma can be released where it surfaces and physical healing can take place in a safe environment.

In Distant Reiki, a client anywhere in the world can receive the same level of healing, as if they are right in front of me. Our intentions and actions are all the same, and the healing energy will be able to find the client no matter how far away they are.

  • My jaw had been locked shut for three days. I could only manage small, soft bites and the pain persisted constantly. It came out of nowhere while I was four weeks into Invisalign and under significant stress, which likely played a part.
